Objective: Children and adults with repaired tetralogy of Fallot (rTOF) have an impaired exercise capacity, a less active lifestyle and an increased long-term risk of adverse outcomes compared with healthy peers. This study aimed to summarise the current evidence for the effectiveness and safety of exercise training interventions in patients with rTOF.

Methods: PubMed/MEDLINE, EMBASE, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Web of Science, Scopus and reference lists of relevant articles were searched for prospective studies published by November 2021.

The HANDS dataset has been created for human-robot interaction research, and it is composed of spatially and temporally aligned RGB and Depth frames. It contains 12 static single-hand gestures performed with both the right-hand and the left-hand, and 3 static two-hands gestures for a total of 29 unique classes. Five actors (two females and three males) have been acquired performing the gestures, each of them adopting a different background and light conditions.

Background: The evaluation of the morphological characteristics of small resistance arteries in humans is challenging. The gold standard method is generally considered to be the measurement by wire or pressure micromyography of the media-to-lumen ratio of subcutaneous small vessels obtained by local biopsies. However, noninvasive techniques for the evaluation of retinal arterioles were recently proposed; in particular, two approaches, scanning laser Doppler flowmetry (SLDF) and adaptive optics, seem to provide useful information; both of them provide an estimation of the wall-to-lumen ratio (WLR) of retinal arterioles.

Rolling contact wear/fatigue tests on wheel/rail specimens are important to produce wheels and rails of new materials for improved lifetime and performance, which are able to operate in harsh environments and at high rolling speeds. This paper presents a novel non-invasive, all-optical system, based on a high-speed video camera and multiple laser illumination sources, which is able to continuously monitor the dynamics of the specimens used to test wheel and rail materials, in a laboratory test bench. 3D macro-topography and angular position of the specimen are simultaneously performed, together with the acquisition of surface micro-topography, at speeds up to 500 rpm, making use of a fast camera and image processing algorithms.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of user-friendly software for the measurement of intraretinal hyporeflective spaces expression of macular edema.

Methods: Fifteen consecutive patients with diabetic retinopathy with clinically significant macular edema were examined using conventional spectral domain optical coherence tomography (OCT). A new composite software application, OCT-measurement analysis tool (OCT-MAT), was developed to automatically process and analyze OCT B-scans by means of image acquisition, filtering, and elaboration, together with hyporeflective area recognition and measurement in µm2.
