Introduction: Non-tuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections are rarely reported, and more so with genitourinary infections. This retrospective study was designed to understand the proportion and behaviour of genitourinary non-tuberculous mycobacterial (GU-NTM) infections compared with genitourinary mycobacterial tuberculosis (GU-MTB) treated at a tertiary care hospital in South India.
Materials And Methods: The hospital records of every bacteriologically proved GU-MTB and GU-NTM infections treated at this centre from 2010 to 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.
Objective: In view of changing landscape of surgical treatment for LUTS secondary to BPE, this audit was undertaken to assess key aspects of the processes and outcomes of the current interventional treatments for BPE, across different units in the UK.
Materials And Method: A multi-institutional snapshot audit was conducted for patients undergoing interventions for LUTS/BPE over 8-week period. Using Delphi process two-part proforma was designed to capture data.

In the framework of 2030 Agenda sustainable agriculture plays a central role. In the field of international aid the participatory approaches to assessment, research, management and budgeting have been widely studied and applied in the last decades, mostly because international aid initiatives, in all their relevant phases from planning through implementation, monitoring and evaluation, are faced with the problem of identifying initiatives that could be successfully and sustainably implemented. The present paper investigates the use of a modified form of analytic hierarchy process, namely the participatory analytic hierarchy process, as a tool for choice criteria elicitation and resource allocation in the framework of an operational planning for agricultural development projects in the Dioceses of Goma, Nord Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBone regeneration of large cranial defects, potentially including traumatic brain injury (TBI) treatment, presents a major problem with non-crosslinking, clinically available products due to material migration outside the defect. Commercial products such as bone cements are permanent and thus not conducive to bone regeneration, and typical commercial bioactive materials for bone regeneration do not crosslink. Our previous work demonstrated that non-crosslinking materials may be prone to material migration following surgical placement, and the current study attempted to address these problems by introducing a new hydrogel system where tissue particles are themselves the crosslinker.
