[Pathogenetic treatment of chronic paraproctitis].

Operations were performed on 865 patients for pararectal fistulas. The fistulas occurred after injury in 18 patients, histological examination revealed fistulous form of Crohn's disease in 14 patients, 12 patients had tuberculous paraproctitis. The late-term results of surgical treatment of chronic paraproctitis were studied in 560 patients according to the presence of concomitant hemorrhoids.

[Polymorphism of hereditary atypical spinal amyotrophy in adults].

The authors describe the clinical picture and morphological changes in the spinal cord and skeletal muscles associated with hereditary atypical spinal amyotrophy observed in adults living in the Saratov region. The intra- and interfamilial polymorphism of the disease and its prevalence in the region are considered.
