Background: Drought is one of main critical factors that limits sugarcane productivity and juice quality in tropical regions. The unprecedented changes in climate such as monsoon failure, increase in temperature and other factors warrant the need for development of stress tolerant cultivars to sustain sugar production. Plant Nuclear factor (NF-Y) is one of the major classes of transcription factors that have a major role in plant development and abiotic stress response.

Energy scarcity and environmental pollution have prompted research in hydrogen generation from solar to develop clean energy through highly efficient, effective, and long-lasting photocatalytic systems. Designing a catalyst with robust stability and an effective carrier separation rate was achieved through heterostructure assembly, but certain functionalities must be explored. In this paper we designed a ternary heterostructure assembly of CdS nanospheres wrapped with hierarchical shell walls of layered MXene-tagged MoS nanoflakes, forming intimate interfaces through an in-situ growth process.

Background: In response to activated patient communities' catalyzation, two significant efforts by the FDA to expedite treatments have now been in place for multiple decades. In 1983, the United States Congress passed the Orphan Drug Act to provide financial incentives for development of drugs for rare diseases. In 1992, partly in response to the HIV epidemic, the FDA implemented Accelerated Approval (AA) to expedite access to promising new therapies to treat serious conditions with unmet medical need based on surrogate marker efficacy while additional clinical data is confirmed.

Background: Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) affects up to 6% of the population, which if not detected early and adequately treated will continue as a hidden impairment resulting in disability.
Aim: The primary objective of the study is to assess the hair cortisol levels (HairF) in persons with GAD with and without alcohol dependence syndrome (ADS), and the secondary objective is to assess whether HairF can be used as a biomarker for assessment of GAD.
Materials And Methods: This comparative study was done on 94 subjects (68 persons with GAD with or without ADS and 26 healthy controls) who were divided into three groups.
