Numerous studies have confirmed that the apoptosis induced by the methacrylate resin monomers triethyleneglycol-dimethacrylate (TEGDMA), 2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate (HEMA), etc., in pulp cells and odontoblast-like cells is caused mainly by oxidative stress (OS). Reactive oxygen species (ROS), recognized as the most important risk factor for apoptosis in cells of the pulp-dentin complex, are produced mainly via the mitochondrial respiratory chain.

Methods: A total of 283 CBCT scans from patients who had single tooth loss in the posterior maxilla and underwent SFE were analyzed. The MS was classified at each tooth position.
Metabolic associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) has become a prevalent chronic liver disease worldwide because of lifestyle and dietary changes. Gut microbiota and its metabolites have been shown to play a critical role in the pathogenesis of MAFLD. Understanding of the function of gut microbiota and its metabolites in MAFLD may help to elucidate pathological mechanisms, identify diagnostic markers, and develop drugs or probiotics for the treatment of MAFLD.

The pattern of their changes holds immense significance in understanding alterations in the belowground seed bank. This understanding is pivotal for uncovering both short-term and long-term shifts in plant communities.

The factors associated with ST eruption potential were analysed, and the optimal extraction time for nonerupted ST was discussed.
Methods: A retrospective study was performed in a 13,336-participant baseline population aged 3-12 years for whom panoramic radiographs had been obtained in the hospital from 2019 to 2021.
