Treatment with ceftriaxone may be accompanied by precipitation of ceftriaxone calcium salts in the gallbladder, called pseudolithiasis. We present a case, in which a formerly healthy five year-old girl developed symptomatic pseudolithiasis during treatment with Rocephalin. The symptoms and pseudolithiasis disappeared after a few days with symptomatic treatment and change of antibiotics.

Thirty-eight multi-traumatized patients admitted to the Emergency Room at the county hospital in Vejle underwent computerized tomography (CT) after a standard protocol in the initial evaluation. Eighteen patients were intubated during CT. Eighteen patients had positive findings in more than one of the regions of the body.

We report a case of epidural haematoma with an unusual position which was believed to be a sequela after placement of an epidural catheter in a 58-year old female. The catheter was inserted at level T12-L1 and the haematoma was found at level T5-7. The patient received heparin s/c 5000 IE x 2 immediately postoperatively.

The CT appearance of hepatic infarction is only described in a few cases in the literature. The description is of well circumscribed areas of low-attenuation, often wedge-shaped and extending to the periphery of the liver. We present a case where infarction of the liver, caused by a dissecting aneurysm of the aorta, was diagnosed by CT-scanning.
