Background: Innovative methods of teaching such as problem-based learning (PBL) and case-based learning (CBL) have shown promising results in academic understanding and application and enable one to manage their patients in a better manner. The study aimed to analyze the role of a combination of PBL and CBL teaching methodologies in a dental teaching institute in India.

Background: This study estimated the predictive accuracy of the mandibular growth potential based on cervical vertebral bone age using digital lateral cephalograms in a sample of the Saudi population.
Methods: This study included digital lateral cephalograms of eighty subjects aged 10-21 years divided into adult and young groups. Cervical vertebral age was calculated by tracing and measuring the third and fourth cervical vertebrae on lateral cephalograms, and the mandibular growth potential was estimated using the Mito et al.

In addition, DNA repair proficiency in peripheral lymphocytes of T1D patients was evaluated. Smears from the clinically normal buccal mucosa of 46 healthy subjects as controls and randomly selected 45 T1D patients, were stained using the Papanicolaou method, and the mean values (μm) of nuclear area (NA), cytoplasmic area (CA), and cytoplasmic: nucleus ratio (CNR) were obtained for each patient.
