Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Submandibular Gland with Skull Metastasis: A Case Report.

Metastasizing pleomorphic adenoma is a rare entity that has the propensity for distant metastasis despite being histologically benign. We report the case of a 56-year-old woman with a long-standing right upper neck swelling and a recent-onset swelling over the left side of the scalp. Clinical workup did not reveal any other tumor deposits in the body.

A clinical study evaluating low dose ferrous fumarate vs. standard iron supplements in iron-deficient non-anemic to mild anemic adults.

Our study aims to validate safety and efficacy of Feroglobin capsule compared with different iron supplementations in adult subjects diagnosed with non-anemic to mild anemic iron deficiency and fatigue. Enrolled 302 participants diagnosed with non-anemic to mild anemic iron deficiency and fatigue. Group A (n = 147) received Feroglobin, Group B (n = 146) received standard of care [Haem Up Gems capsules (Ferrous fumarate) or Fericip tablets (Ferrous ascorbate)].

White light-emitting ZnO:Dy nanophosphors: delving into the spectroscopic parameters Judd-Ofelt analysis.

Developing a single-phase white emitting nanophosphor with high quantum efficiency has become a hotspot for scientific world. Herein, single-phase white-light emitting ZnO:Dy nanophosphors have been synthesized a sonochemical method. X-ray diffraction analysis and Raman spectroscopy-based investigations confirmed the hexagonal wurtzite phase for ZnO:Dy nanophosphors with preferential growth along the (101) plane.

Study of the Efficacy of Pipelle Biopsy Technique to Diagnose Endometrial Diseases in Abnormal Uterine Bleeding.

Background: Pipelle biopsy is ideal for obtaining endometrial sample in outpatient department. It samples only 4% of the endometrial surface and has sensitivity up to 97%. A positive biopsy can avoid inconvenience to a patient, but a nonspecific finding should be interpreted with caution.
