Tissue-Engineered Vascular Grafts (TEVGs) made of human textiles have been recently introduced and offer remarkable biocompatibility as well as tunable mechanical properties. The approach combines the use of Cell-Assembled extracellular Matrix (CAM) threads, produced by cultured cells in vitro, with weaving, a versatile assembly method that gives fine control over graft properties. Herein, we investigated how production parameters can modify the geometrical and mechanical properties of TEVGs to better match that of native blood vessels in order to provide long-term patency.

Infrared EBL fluctuations have been attributed to primordial galaxies and black holes at the epoch of reionization (EOR) or, alternately, intrahalo light (IHL) from stars tidally stripped from their parent galaxies at low redshift. We report new EBL anisotropy measurements from a specialized sounding rocket experiment at 1.

An histomorphometric study of the bones was done on 28 patients suffering from an idiopathic hemochromatosis. There was a normocalcinemic hyperparathyroidism in half the cases. It appeared to be closely linked to hypersideremia and to be responsible for the sub-chondral arthropathy.
