[Classification of vascular tumors and malformations: basis for classification and clinical purpose].

Vascular anomalies are a complex pathological group. They are especially difficult to study because of confusion in the terminology used. The classification developed by the ISSVA (International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies) now allows using a common scientific language.

[Streptococcal impetigo at topical tacrolimus application sites in a woman with atopic dermatitis].

Background: We report a case of staphylococcal impetigo in a girl treated with tacrolimus ointment (Protopic) for atopic dermatitis.

Observation: A 15 year-old girl was receiving treatment with tacrolimus 0.03% (Protopic) for an episode of atopic dermatitis.

[Giant cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma of the nose with subsequent brain extension].

Introduction: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma is an invasive and destructive tumor, and may cause death by local extension or because of metastasis. We report the case of a patient with a giant squamous cell carcinoma of the nose and extension to the brain and discuss the main risk factors from this extension.

Observation: Resection of a giant squamous cell carcinoma was performed of the nose in a 45 year-old man after debulking radiotherapy.
