Irradiation at 460 nm of [Mo(μ-S)(μ-S)(SCNR)]I ([]I, R = Me; []I, R = Et; []I, R = Bu; []I, R = CHCH) in a mixed aqueous-polar organic medium with [Ru(bipy)] as photosensitizer and EtN as electron donor leads to H evolution. Maximum activity (300 turnovers, 3 h) is found with R = Bu in 1:9 HO:MeCN; diminished activity is attributed to deterioration of [Ru(bipy)]. Monitoring of the photolysis mixture by mass spectrometry suggests transformation of [Mo(μ-S)(μ-S)(SCNR)] to [Mo(μ-S)(μ-S)(SCNR)] via extrusion of sulfur on a time scale of minutes without accumulation of the intermediate [MoS(SCNR)] or [MoS(SCNR)] species.

Coherence of solid state spin qubits is limited by decoherence and random fluctuations in the spin bath environment. Here we develop spin bath control sequences which simultaneously suppress the fluctuations arising from intrabath interactions and inhomogeneity. Experiments on neutral self-assembled quantum dots yield up to a five-fold increase in coherence of a bare nuclear spin bath.

We achieve direct detection of electron hyperfine shifts in individual CdTe/ZnTe quantum dots. For the previously inaccessible regime of strong magnetic fields B_{z}≳0.1  T, we demonstrate robust polarization of a few-hundred-particle nuclear spin bath, with an optical initialization time of ∼1  ms and polarization lifetime exceeding ∼1  s.

Introduction: When reporting adverse drug reactions to pharmacovigilance centres, patients and consumers can describe adverse drug reactions experienced in free-text format. Recently, a patient-friendly adverse drug reaction terms list was introduced in the adverse drug reaction report form in the UK to facilitate this reporting.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the actual use of the patient-friendly terms list in the adverse drug reaction report form and its association with the type of adverse drug reactions reported.
