Prevention of unplanned extubation in neonatal patients: Protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Unplanned extubation (UPE), defined as accidental removal of the endotracheal tube during mechanical ventilation or its replacement due to suspected obstruction or inadequate diameter, is considered the fourth most common adverse event in neonatal intensive care units (NICU). This study aimed to describe a systematic review and meta-analysis protocol that will identify and assess the effect of primary intervention measures designed to prevent UPE in NICU. A search will be carried out in the following databases: PubMed/Medline, EMBASE, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, SciELO, and LILACS.

Prevalence and quality of life associated with erectile dysfunction and lower urinary tract symptoms: a cross-sectional study.

Background: Genitourinary health significantly affects the quality of life of men, particularly those in middle age. Recent studies have shown that more than half of the men aged over 40 years experience some degree of low urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) or erectile dysfunction (ED).

Objective: To assess the prevalence of ED and LUTS in middle-aged men and correlate this with quality of life data.

However, individual variability in response to ketamine exists, and current biomarkers of ketamine treatment response are not entirely understood. In recent years, surveys have revealed a high diversity of troglophilic and troglobitic species of Brazilian Collembola, mainly represented by the Entomobryidae and Sminthuridae, which hold some representative genera in Brazilian caves such as Cyphoderus Nicolet and Pararrhopalites Bonet & Tellez.
