The massive amount of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO-1) in tumor cells and tumor-associated immune cells forms a feedback loop that maintains immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (ITM) and causes immune escape, resulting in the poor prognosis of platinum chemotherapeutics. However, the effective systemic administration of platinum drugs and IDO-1 inhibitors is strictly limited by their distinct chemical construction, different pharmacokinetic profiles, and heterogeneous distributions. Herein, a novel supramolecular method with the capability to modulate tumor microenvironment is proposed aiming at potentiating the antitumor efficacy of chemoimmunotherapy.

Retroperitoneal lymphangioma is exceptionally rare. We present a case of a 41-year-old asymptomatic patient with a large abdominal cystic mass detected on contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan, initially suspected to be pseudomyxoma peritonei. Laparoscopic exploration revealed a 30 x 30 cm multilocular cystic tumour originating from the retroperitoneum.

Harmonic generation, a notable non-linear phenomenon, has promising applications in information processing. For spin-waves in ferromagnetic materials, great progress has been made in the generation higher harmonics, however probing the coherence of these higher harmonics is challenging. Here, using in-situ diamond sensors, we study the coherent harmonic generation of spin waves in a soft ferromagnet.

In flat-band systems, emergent physics can be substantially modified by the presence of another nearby electronic band. For example, a Mott˘Hubbard insulator can turn into a charge transfer insulator if other electronic states enter between the upper and lower Hubbard bands. Here, we introduce twisted double bilayer (TDB) WSe, with twist angles near 60°, as a controllable platform in which the K-valley band can be tuned to close vicinity of the Γ-valley moiré flat band.
