Micro-injection molding (µIM) is a widespread process for the production of plastic parts with at least one dimension, or feature, in the microscale (conventionally below 500 µm). Despite injection molding being recognized as a robust process for obtaining parts with high geometry accuracy, one last occurrence remains a challenge in micro-injection molding, especially when junctions are present on the parts: the so-called weld lines. As weld lines are crucial in determining mechanical part performances, it is mandatory to clarify weld line position and characteristics, especially at the industrial scale during mold design, to limit failure causes.

They are characterized by an initial phase of bright and highly variable radiation in the kiloelectronvolt-to-megaelectronvolt band, which is probably produced within the jet and lasts from milliseconds to minutes, known as the prompt emission. Subsequently, the interaction of the jet with the surrounding medium generates shock waves that are responsible for the afterglow emission, which lasts from days to months and occurs over a broad energy range from the radio to the gigaelectronvolt bands.

AAD presenting with anuria and the necessity of renal replacement therapy occurs rarely. Here we describe a case of a hypertensive and obese patient presenting with anuria and acute kidney injury, who underwent to hemodialysis and later was diagnosed with aortic dissection.

Materials And Methods: During the 4-year study period, 10 patients received bilateral common iliac vein placement of retrievable filters for pulmonary embolism (PE) prophylaxis. These patients were at risk for venous thromboembolism (VTE) but had no evidence of VTE at the time of filter placement.
