[Cholesterol granuloma of the petrous apex].

Cholesterol granuloma of the petrous apex is an inflammatory granulation tissue response to the presence of cholesterol crystals. It is not generally associated with middle-ear pathology. CT and MRI are fundamental for diagnosis.
