  • This study aimed to assess the impact of different root canal retreatment systems (conventional, rotary, and reciprocating) on dentinal defects during the removal of root filling materials from teeth.
  • Sixty human teeth were used, and after comparing the systems, the Protaper Universal Retreatment Files caused the most dentinal defects, while Reciproc Blue showed the least damage.
  • The research concluded that using Reciproc Blue significantly lowers the risk of dentinal defects, making it a preferable option for root canal retreatments.
