The authors studied innovative approaches in postgraduate training of occupational therapy specialists. Findings are that combination of technologic and research approaches provides guaranteed prevailing and development of creativity.

[State of cardio-respiratory system, psychoemotional state and life quality in Tyva guttural traditional singing].

The article presents results of studies concerning cardio-respiratory system, psychoemotional state and life quality in professional guttural traditional singers. The professional singers with long length of service were proved to have lower external respiratory function parameters and saturation values, polycytemic syndrome and ECG studies demonstrate reliably more frequent left ventricular hypertrophy and metabolic disorders, more considerable psychoemotional changes and life quality alterations are seen, if compared to the amateur singers.

[Comparative analysis of the results of combined radiotherapy of cervix cancer using 60Co sources of high and low activity for intracavitary irradiation].

The results of complex radiation therapy in 130 patients with cervical cancer were compared. Colpometrostats (components of AraT-B apparatus) with automatically-fed sources of 60Co high-level radiation were used for intracavitary treatment in 65 patients (group I). Gynecologic gamma-ray applicators with manually afterloaded 60Co low-level radiation sources were employed in group 2.
