The condition of blood coagulation activity and the indices of the endocrine background were studied in patients with tumors of prevalently basal localization which caused a direct effect on the central regulating centers. Before the operation most patients had clinical signs of endocrine-metabolic disorders, often in the presence of an increased content of ACTH and cortisol in the blood.
