[Effect of collateral circulation on myocardial perfusion using thallium-201].

Background: The influence of collateral circulation (CC) on thallium-201 myocardial uptake was studied in 69 patients with coronary artery disease who underwent a coronary angiography.

Materials And Methods: According to Cohen and Rentrop a CC of 2nd and 3rd degree only was considered. A stress-early redistribution 201Tl scintigraphic protocol was utilized.
