Transcranial Direct-Current Stimulation and Behavioral Training, a Promising Tool for a Tailor-Made Post-stroke Aphasia Rehabilitation: A Review.

Aphasia is an acquired language disorder resulting from damage to portions of the brain which are responsible for language comprehension and formulation. This disorder can involve different levels of language processing with impairments in both oral and written comprehension and production. Over the last years, different rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions have been developed, especially non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques.

Laryngeal lipoma: a rare cause of dysphonia.

Lipomas are the most common mesenchymal tumors. Laryngeal lipomas represent 1% of all lipomas but unlike other locations may cause life-threatening symptoms by obstruction of the respiratory tract. In this study, the case of a 32-year old woman with laryngeal lipoma is discussed.

The role of CK7, Ki-67, CD34 and vimentin in the differentiation between biliary atresia and idiopathic neonatal hepatitis in Egyptian cholestatic neonates.

The differentiation between biliary atresia (BA) and idiopathic neonatal hepatitis (INH) is challenging with many histological overlaps especially in the first weeks of life. This study aimed to investigate the role of immunohistochemical staining of CK7, Ki67, CD34, and vimentin in addition to other clinicopathological features in the differentiation between BA and INH. Cases included 30 infants with BA and 30 infants with INH.
