PROSPECTS FOR CREATION OF RADIOPROTECTIVE MEANS BASED ON NATURAL POLYPHENOLS AND POLYSACCHARIDES.

Unlabelled: The high level of nuclear radiation threats in the modern world determines the need to find new means of pharmacological protection of the health of military personnel and civilians from the effects of ionizing radiation. Of particular scientific interest in this aspect are natural polyphenols as a promising basis for the development of newdrugs, radiomodifiers.

Objective: Justification of the prospects of creating radioprotective agents based on compositions of plantpolyphenolic substances (PPS) and polysaccharides.

[The regulation of the composition of commercial forms of pesticides and the principles for evaluating their toxicity and hazards].

On the basis of data analysis on harmful effect of components of the trade forms of pesticides (pesticides, emulsifying agents, solvents, etc.) it is suggested to consider them as combined preparations. Their toxicity and danger assessment principles are formulated.

[Blood coagulating and anticoagulant properties of the tissues in experimental chronic alcoholism in albino rats].

A study was made of thromboplastin, antiheparin and antithrombin activity of the brain, heart and liver tissues of rats in experimental chronic alcoholization. Appreciable changes in the tissue factors of coagulation according to the dyscoagulemia type depending on the duration and gravity of alcoholic intoxication may aggravate hemostatic disorders.

[The use of a solution of quercetin for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the parotid glands].

The possibility to use 0.1% quercetin solution for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the parotid glands was studied. The effectiveness of treatment of 26 patients was estimated according to the data of clinical examination and cytologic study of the saliva.
