The article presents the results of the survey of the dermatovenereologists and patients to explore their attitude to the telemedicine consultations. It is found that most of the dermatovenereologists have the positive attitude towards telemedicine consultations. From the perspective of patients using telemedicine technology is likely to breach the protection of personal privacy.

There was effectuated an analyze of introduction of telemedical technologies in Russia and abroad. Was shown that the USA Armed Forces are one of active developers of telemedical technologies and user of them. It was marked that in dermatology, in contrast to other medical sciences, the diagnosis is made by dint of eyes, that's why it's very important to presents photos of evidence of dermatosis and histologic specimen.
