Influence of various doses of xenobiotics on several biological and morphological indices of rat blood has been studied. It was established that intraperitoneal injections of the investigated phenols resulted in effect on biochemical indices of rat blood, specific to the particular phenolic compound. The strongest effect was observed in case of 4-nitrophenol and the weakest one was in case of hydroquinone; it witnesses for strong toxicity of 4-nitrophenol and for antioxidant properties of hydroquinone.
