X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to study changes in the structure of amorphous alloys under deformation by high-pressure torsion and multiple rolling. The change in mean nearest neighbor distance (the radius of the first coordination sphere) under deformation was determined. During deformation, shear bands are formed in amorphous alloys, which are regions of lower density compared to the surrounding undeformed amorphous matrix.

The main danger among these pathogens is represented by both enterotoxigenic E. coli causing enteritis and enterocolitis accompanied by acute dehydration diarrhea and Escherichia producing shiga-toxin being agents of hemorrhagic colitis and hemolytic uremic syndrome.

General patterns of directions of the activation spread changed relatively little when compared to normal. Apparently, in spite of the ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery, ischemia was not achieved.

Using intramural multipolar electrode technique, the pattern of propagation of the heart ventricle depolarization was studied in the frog Rana temporaria. The depolarization wave from the middle part of subendocardial layers was shown to spread to the apex and base of the heart and, simultaneously, to the epicardium. The ECG complexes are formed by the electrical activity of the endocardial, intramural and epicardial layers.

The study of antibody production in cotton rats infected with Rickettsia prowazekii B and TB has revealed that R. prowazekii antigens, inducing the production of antibodies determined in the complement fixation, indirect hemolysis, and passive hemagglutination tests, are T-independent. The study of the nonspecific reactivity of T-lymphocytes in cotton rats infected with R.
