Peer Support Workers (PSWs) play a crucial role in recovery-oriented mental health services. They offer support and hope by sharing their personal experiences and recovery journeys. However, transitioning from voluntary self-help roles to paid positions within statutory systems is not merely a technical shift.

This study quantified body composition and physical function alongside proton magnetic resonance imaging (1H MRI) and spectroscopy (31P MRS) measures of organ structure and function in quiescent Crohn's Disease patients (CD) and healthy volunteers (HV), to identify a physiological basis for IBD fatigue.
Methods: Body composition was determined using DEXA and 1H MRI.
A major component of recovery is the inclusion of lived experience to transform the culture of Mental Health (MH) services. In Israel lived experience has been increasingly integrated into services through peer roles. However, lived experience knowledge and expertise has not been sufficiently nor systematically integrated into the design of mental health research.

D-lactic acidosis is linked to various inflammatory manifestations, and although the causative factors have been extensively explored, the exact pathogenesis of the associated inflammation remains elusive. Notably, less attention has been given to D-lactate, a stereoisomer found in the plasma of affected animals, which may lead to D-lactic acidosis.

Class 1B DHODs (DHODBs) use NAD as the oxidant substrate and have a heterodimeric structure that incorporates two active sites, each with a flavin cofactor. One FeS center lies roughly equidistant between the flavin isoalloxazine rings.
