This study explores a Hofmann-type clathrate, {Fe(2,4-(OCH)-bpy)(HO)[μ-Pt(CN)][μ-Pt(CN)]·4HO}, which exhibits a thermally activated electron transfer (ET) without spin crossover. Synthesized as microcrystalline powders and single crystals, this compound reveals significant structural changes upon variation of the temperature, including alterations in the iron coordination sphere due to the large movement of the bipyridinium ligand. These changes correlate with a thermochromic hysteretic transition from yellow to orange.

A systematic method development process was followed, incorporating risk assessment, identification of critical analytical procedure parameters, initial screening of stationary phases, and software-assisted optimization of method parameters. Eight different polysaccharide-based chiral columns were selected to assess chiral separation of enantiomers under polar organic elution mode.

Methods: Using data from the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO), our retrospective study analyzed newly diagnosed malignancies between Jan 1, 2011, and Dec 31, 2019. Age-standardized incidence and mortality rates were calculated for all and for different tumor types using both the 1976 and 2013 European Standard Populations (ESP).
The enantioselective binding of three proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)-omeprazole, rabeprazole, and lansoprazole-to two key plasma proteins, α1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) and human serum albumin (HSA), was characterized. The interactions between PPI enantiomers and proteins were investigated using a multifaceted analytical approach, including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), fluorescence and UV spectroscopy, as well as in silico molecular docking. HPLC analysis demonstrated that all three PPIs exhibited enantioseparation on an AGP-based chiral stationary phase, suggesting stereoselective binding to AGP, while only lansoprazole showed enantioselective binding on the HSA-based column.

However, no recent review has analyzed multimodality in English language learning in higher education. This systematic review examines 34 research articles published from 2013 to 2024.
