[Treatment of complex hand injuries by stable osteosynthesis using a "multiple pinning" technique].

Unlabelled: The multiple pinning technique has been reported by the authors as an effective method for the treatment of comminuted osteo-articular fractures of the digits. This procedure can be performed rapidly, offers good stability and thereby allows early post-operative physiotherapy. The aim of this type of management is to offer the patient recovery of thumb to digit pinch by restoring two functional joints (MCP, PIP) or at least one functional joint (MCP), particularly as far as the radial digits are concerned.

[Stabilization of thoraco-lumbar spinal fractures using Harrington's equipment. Study of the evolution of spinal curvatures].

The radiographic results of treatment of unstable thoracolumbar spinal injuries by Harrington rods are reviewed. The loss of initial correction of kyphosis is 8 degrees on average. Correlation between good anatomical reduction and lapse of time before operation, level of instrumentation and solid spinal fusion exists.

[Results of the orthopedic treatment of scoliosis in children under 7 years of age. Apropos of 75 cases].

Seventy five children suffering from scoliosis under the age of 7 years have been treated by the authors. The treatment was commenced before the age of 4 in infantile scoliosis and before the age of 6 in juvenile scoliosis. It was based on the use of the Milwaukee brace used directly in cases of angulation less than 50 degrees and preceded by a plaster cast in other cases.

[Tibial lengthening using Judet's method. Apropos of 108 cases in children].

One hundred and eight tibial lengthenings were performed in 106 children using the technique and apparatus of R. and J. Judet.
