Background: Radiation therapy (RT) is a standard treatment for non-metastatic breast cancer and is associated with acute and late toxicities. Intensity-modulated RT (IMRT) may decrease toxicity and is convenient for patients.
Objectives: To assess the efficacy and safety of IMRT in women with early stage breast cancer.

Purpose Of Review: Globally, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. Locally advanced breast cancers (LABCs) may necessitate palliative radiation therapy (RT) due to the severity of the patients' symptoms, inoperability, or other reasons precluding curative-intent treatment such as poor performance status and patient comorbidities. This review aims to discuss current evidence on palliative RT in LABC.

Materials And Methods: Men diagnosed with invasive breast cancer between January 2000 and June 2020 were identified from Fundação Oncocentro de Sao Paulo database encompasses data pertinent to 46 million residents of the Sao Paulo State of Brazil. Patients were described according to age, education level, clinical stage, treatment modalities, and medical practice.
Purpose: Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) of the breast is one of the most common pre-invasive cancers diagnosed in women. Quality of life (QoL) is extremely important to assess in studies including these patients due to the favorable prognosis of the disease. The primary objective of this systematic review was to compile a comprehensive list of QoL issues, all existing QoL assessment tools, and patient-reported outcome measures used to assess DCIS.
