: Among breast cancer molecular types, HER2 positive and triple negative (TN) subtypes have the highest likelihood of pathological complete response (pCR), which is a surrogate marker for reduced recurrence and improved patient survival after neoadjuvant systemic treatment (NST). Preoperative pathological identification of these exceptional responders is a new era. Therefore, we aimed to determine the accuracy of trucut biopsy in identifying the exceptional responders in selected molecular subtypes of breast cancer patients.

Purpose: Reducing renal ischemia is crucial for the function and survival of grafts from nonheartbeat donors, as it leads to inflammatory responses and tubulointerstitial damage. The primary concern with organs from nonheartbeat donors is the long warm ischemia period and reperfusion injury following renal transplantation. This study had two main goals; one goal is to determine how Necrostatin-1 targeting the PANoptosome affects PANoptosis in the nonheart-beating donor rat model.

Article Synopsis
  • - A 90-year-old woman with multiple health issues arrived at the emergency department three weeks after a fall, showing signs of neurological and vascular complications related to a fractured left clavicle.
  • - Imaging revealed a displaced midshaft clavicle fracture and significant arterial flow loss in the left arm's major arteries due to compression.
  • - Due to her fragile health, the surgical team opted for shoulder disarticulation to address the arterial occlusion, and she showed no further circulatory issues at the three-month follow-up, highlighting the risks of delayed treatment in such fractures.

Background: Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) has replaced axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) for assessing axillary lymph node status in clinically node-negative breast cancer patients. However, the approach to axillary surgery after neoadjuvant treatment is still controversial. In the present study, our objective was to predict the pathological nodal stage based on SLNB results and the clinicopathological characteristics of patients who initially presented with clinical N1 positivity but whose disease status was converted to clinical N0 after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).

Objectives: The objectives of this study were a) to investigate the effect of targeting the PANoptosome with 3,4-methylenedioxy-β-nitrostyrene (MNS) on PANoptosis in the Renal ischemia-reperfussion (RIR) model b) to investigate the kidney protective effect of MNS toward RIR injury.

Methods: Thirty-two rats were divided into four groups randomly. The groups were assigned as Control, Sham, DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and MNS groups.
