Purpose The present study aimed to clarify the distribution pattern of carcinoma associated fibroblasts (CAFs) across pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and its prognostic prediction value. Methods Data of two cohorts were retrospectively collected from consecutive patients who underwent primary pancreatic resection from January 2015 to December 2017. We used tumor specimens to screen out the most suitable markers for the spatial distribution analysis for CAFs subpopulations.

The overall quality of support from others varies due to differences in people's capacities to help others. This results in some support seekers' needs being met, while others remain unresolved.

This study with a cohort design aimed to investigate the association between HT use and glioma risk using the data from the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial.
Methods: We analyzed data from 75,335 women, aged 50-78, who were enrolled between 1993 and 2001.
Continuous and reagentless biomolecular detection technologies are bringing an evolutionary influence on disease diagnostics and treatment. Aptamers are attractive as specific recognition probes because they are capable of regeneration without washing. Unfortunately, the affinity and dissociation kinetics of the aptamers developed to date show an inverse relationship, preventing continuous and reagentless detection of protein targets due to their low dissociation rates.

The pathogenic mechanisms and upstream regulation of UBE2S expression in prostate cancer have not been elucidated.
Methods: Here, we performed bioinformatic analysis of public databases to reveal the expression of UBE2S in PCa and its association with Gleason score, tumor staging, biochemical recurrence, and survival.
