[Effect of rehabilitation on the parameters of quality of life in children with chronic gastroduodenal pathology].

The objective of this study was to evaluate effect of comprehensive rehabilitation on dynamics of characteristics of the quality of life in children with chronic gastroduodenal pathology. The study included 155 children aged 14-15 years examined in the phase of exacerbation of chronic gastroduodenitis (CGD). Sixty one of these patients were given treatment in the "Detskie dyuny" children's sanatorium rehabilitation centre and the remaining 54 received traditional combined therapy services as outpatients (control group).

[Status of children's health and development of health-promoting measures at preschool educational establishments].

Medical examinations of children from 3 types of preschool educational establishments provided educational and health-promoting measures in addition to their curricula. The measures exerted a positive impact on the children's health.

[Factors affecting onset of ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy].

The study of 46 patients suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy has shown that both ventricular tachycardias detected at 24-h ECG monitoring and late ventricular potentials are essential predictors of sudden arrhythmic death. These predictors depend neither on severity of left ventricular systolic and diastolic dysfunction nor on severity of cardiac decompensation.

[Differential assessment of the health status of preschool children in risk groups].

Health status of the underschool children from the second health group, which with having some morphofunctional changes, (503 persons) was studied. The key changes were postural, cardiovascular, neuropsychic changes. The lysozyme level in saliva is the informative index related to the health status of underschool children.
