Background: This study aimed to explore behaviour of practitioners in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, analysing the factors that influenced their decisions to resume professional practice post-lockdown and intention to adhere to COVID-19 protective measures.
Methods: A web-based cross-sectional survey targeting Italian practitioners was carried out to study the post lockdown behaviour and future intention to provide new contact lens (CL) fittings, and the use of protective measures. The survey also explored the dimensions of the Integrated Behavioural Model (IBM) and the Health Belief Model (HBM) to predict the intention to resume professional practice and to comply with protective measures respectively.
Objective: To assess whether high- versus low-dose oxytocin regimens for labor augmentation are associated with differential risk for low Apgar score, neonatal acidosis, and other adverse labor outcomes.
Data Sources: We searched electronic databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Scopus, ClinicalTrials.gov) from inception up to March 2024 using combinations of the following keywords: "oxytocin," "oxytocin regimen," "oxytocin protocol," "oxytocin dosage," "active management," "high dose protocol," "low dose protocol," "augmentation of labor.
Strong evidence supports the paramount importance of the composition of the diet for health. Not only diet should provide nutritional adequacy, but some foods and dietary components can also support the management of common chronic diseases, with mechanisms independent of nutritional adequacy. Among the various intervention diets, low-fat vegan diets have been shown to be effective for cardiometabolic health, mainly influencing insulin resistance, adiposity, and blood lipids.

Laser-heating of levitated B/HTPB and pure HTPB particles in a controlled atmosphere revealed spontaneous ignition of B/HTPB in air, allowing for examination of the exclusive roles of boron. These ignition events are probed via simultaneous spectroscopic diagnostics: Raman and infrared spectroscopy, temporally resolved high-speed optical and infrared cameras, and ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy.
