Objective: This study aimed to investigate health-related quality of life (HRQoL), sexual function, psychological-health, reproductive concerns, and fertility outcomes of women of reproductive age undergoing Fertility-Sparing Surgery (FSS) for treatment of ovarian cancer (OC) or borderline ovarian tumor (BOT), over a 2-year period.
Methods: Prospective longitudinal multicentre study including women 18-40 years undergoing FSS between 2016 and 2018 in Sweden. Clinical data at diagnosis, histopathological findings and 2-year follow-up regarding oncological and reproductive outcomes were collected.
: There are few standardized measures available to assess executive function (EF) in a naturalistic setting for children. The Children's Cooking Task (CCT) is a complex test that has been specifically developed to assess EF in a standardized open-ended environment (cooking). The aim of the present study was to evaluate the internal consistency, inter-rater reliability, sensitivity and specificity, and also convergent and divergent validity of the Norwegian version of CCT among children with pediatric Acquired Brain Injury (pABI) and healthy controls (HCs).
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAim: To investigate the external validity of the Both Hands Assessment (BoHA), a new test evaluating bimanual performance in children with bilateral cerebral palsy (CP), by analysing its relationship to established measurements of hand function and self-care skills.
Method: In this cross-sectional study, we recruited children with bilateral CP and manual ability corresponding to Manual Ability Classification System (MACS) levels I to III attending three habilitation units in Norway. All participants completed the BoHA.
Fertility preservation is a novel clinical discipline aiming to protect the fertility potential of young adults and children at risk of infertility. The field is evolving quickly, enriched by advances in assisted reproductive technologies and cryopreservation methods, in addition to surgical developments. The best-characterized target group for fertility preservation is the patient population diagnosed with cancer at a young age since the bulk of the data indicates that the gonadotoxicity inherent to most cancer treatments induces iatrogenic infertility.

Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 providers in different mental health settings. Data were systematic analyzed using thematic analysis and resulted in three overall themes: (1) The relationship and collaboration between the mental health providers and their peer colleagues, (2) The benefits of working with peers, and (3) The challenges of working with peers.
