Venous Doppler ultrasound of the lower extremity showed an isolated right calf muscle vein thrombosis, without any sign of deep vein thrombosis. 18F-FDG PET/CT revealed an intense focal uptake on the right popliteal artery, suggesting a mycotic aneurysm (MA).
