We present to the scientific community the Surface Science Modeling and Simulation Toolkit (SuSMoST), which includes a number of utilities and implementations of statistical physics algorithms and models. With SuSMoST it is possible to predict or explain the structure and thermodynamic properties of adsorption layers. SuSMoST automatically builds formal graph and tensor-network models based on atomic description of adsorption complexes and helps to do ab initio calculations of interactions between adsorbed species.

The response of bone marrow cells of CBA mice injected with 22.2, 222 and 592 kBq/animal to additional gamma-irradiation (3 Gy) for testing purposes was evaluated using SCG (Comet assay). A decrease in induction of DNA damage right after additional gamma-irradiation was determined.

The authors used carbon tissue napkins manufactured from the cloth "Urals" with a selvedge which was processed according to an original method for the treatment of festered wounds. It provided quicker cleansing and healing of the wounds in comparison with conventional methods of local treatment. Cloth material on the base of carbon was used also as an implant for the treatment of abdominal wall hernias (predominantly ventral hernias).

The data base (DB) "Primers of microorganisms" for the accumulation and systematization of information on oligonucleotide sequences, used as primers in polymerase chain reaction, has been created. This DB includes data on primers for the laboratory diagnostics of 20 bacterial genera (Aerococcus, Aeromonas, Bartonella, Borrelia, Burkholderia, Chlamydia, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, Escherichia, Francisella, Helicobacter, Legionella, Listeria, Mycobacterium, Mycoplasma, Salmonella, Shigella, Staphylococcus, Vibrio, Yersinia) and 6 viral families (Arenaviridae, Flaviviridae, Hepadnaviridae, Herpesviridae, Picornaviridae, Retroviridae). DB contains data on 145 pairs of primers and 530 bibliographic sources.
