Purpose Of Review: Headache is one of the most common symptoms of traumatic brain injury, and it is more common in patients with mild, rather than moderate or severe, traumatic brain injury. Posttraumatic headache can be the most persistent symptom of traumatic brain injury. In this article, we review the current understanding of posttraumatic headache, summarize the current knowledge of its pathophysiology and treatment, and review the research regarding predictors of long-term outcomes.

- The ENIGMA Consortium Intimate Partner Violence Working Group aims to create a global collaborative effort among researchers and stakeholders to address the limited understanding of the effects of head trauma related to IPV by collecting and analyzing consistent data.
- By standardizing measures across different research sites, the working group hopes to enhance the statistical power of studies and provide insights into the long-term health impacts of IPV-related trauma on individuals.
Domestic violence is a national health crisis, which affects people of all ages, races, and socioeconomic classes. Traumatic brain injury is common in victims because of the high frequency of head and neck injuries inflicted through abuse. These recurrent injuries can lead to chronic symptoms with high morbidity.

Traditional evaluation of health care quality usually involves the measurement of the structure, process, and outcome of care. Most quality improvement programs involve a cycle that includes a setting of goals, a measurement of either process or outcomes, and a real-time or retrospective feedback of the results of data measurement. Benchmarking, a well-known efficient business technology, can lead to practice innovations necessary to survive in an environment that has a need for decreasing cost and increasing quality.

Methods: Six of 20 psychiatric clinics met selection criteria for this study and provided a database of 5, 106 patients. Patients completed the BASIS-32, the Short-Form-36 Health Survey, and a Beginning Services Survey.
