This work is devoted to the reconstruction of Z-pinch plasma emission spectra in the wavelength range of less than 10 Å recorded by using a crystal x-ray spectrograph at the Angara 5-1 mega-ampere facility. The spectrograph JA-1 used in experiments has a cylindrical mica crystal with dimensions of 50 × 40 mm2 and radius of curvature of 100 mm. Registration of spectra is performed on the photographic film UF-4 with dimensions of 30 × 10 mm2.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA number of optoacoustic (or photoacoustic) microscopy and mesoscopy techniques have successfully been employed for non-invasive tumor angiography. However, accurate rendering of tortuous and multidirectional neoplastic vessels is commonly hindered by the limited aperture size, narrow bandwidth and insufficient angular coverage of commercially available ultrasound transducers. We exploited the excellent flexibility and elasticity of a piezo polymer (PVDF) material to devise a fisheye-shape ultrasound detector with a high numerical aperture of 0.

Winkler foundation-type models are applied to describe the cohesion zone, and the incubation time fracture criterion is used. The challenging task is to study whether relatively weak ultrasound is able to decrease the threshold values of the external impact load depending on a joint model, such as an "elastic membrane" or "beam" approximation, and various boundary conditions at the ends.

Methods: We conducted a randomized, double-blind, comparative study of 3-dose regimens of 3AV (10 μg) and 1AV (20 µg) in adults aged 18-45 years. We evaluated immunogenicity based on hepatitis B surface (HBs) antibody titers at days 1, 28, 90, 180, and 210, adverse and serious adverse events (SAEs) to study day 210.
A method for diagnostics of systolic function of the right ventricle of the heart in patients with cardiovascular disease is proposed. Its application expands possibilities for detecting disorders of the discharge RV function using a conventional pulsed wave Doppler ultrasonography.
