Prenatal and early life farm exposure, and breastfeeding, are associated with protection from allergic diseases. We hypothesize that farm exposure influences the human breast milk microbiome and immune proteins. The immune protein profiles and microbial communities of 152 human breast milk samples were compared among three maternal farm exposure groups (traditional agrarian, farm, and non-farm) in rural Wisconsin to identify signatures associated with farm status and atopic disease.

The United States Prescribing Information has a Boxed Warning for endophthalmitis and reports the incidence rate in patients developing endophthalmitis after receiving the PDS compared with monthly intravitreal ranibizumab. Endophthalmitis cases noted in the Boxed Warning, treatment outcomes, potential contributing factors, and potential mitigations are summarized.

Although studies have investigated patient choice of anti-VEGF agent, little is known regarding factors that influence physician preference of anti-VEGF agent for their patients.
Objective: To describe physician rationale and challenges in prescribing anti-VEGF treatments for patients with nAMD.
Background: Compared with thin-strut durable-polymer drug-eluting stents (DP-DES), ultrathin-strut biodegradable-polymer sirolimus-eluting stents (BP-SES) improve stent-related clinical outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Reduced stent strut thickness is hypothesised to underlie these benefits, but this conjecture remains unproven.
Aims: We aimed to assess the impact of strut thickness on stent healing and clinical outcomes between ultrathin-strut and thin-strut BP-SES.
