Background And Aims: Indocyanine Green Fluorescence (ICG-F)- guided surgery is becoming an increasingly helpful tool in pediatric surgical care. This consensus statement investigates the utility of ICG-F in various pediatric surgical applications, primarily focusing on its evidence base, safety, indications, use across different surgical specialties and dosing strategies. The aim is to establish an international consensus for ICG-F use in pediatric surgery.

Risk for Recurrence in Long-Term Follow-Up of Children after Liver Transplantation for Hepatoblastoma or Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

The aim of this study was to assess the long-term results of liver transplantation (LT) in pediatric patients with unresectable hepatoblastoma (HB) or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with special reference to the risk of tumor recurrence. We retrospectively analyzed data from 46 HB and 26 HCC patients who underwent LT between 1990 and 2022. In HCC patients, we compared outcomes depending on donor type.

Choledochal Cyst Excision in Infants-A Retrospective Study.

The Impact of Hepatic Artery Thrombosis on the Outcome of Pediatric Living Donor Liver Transplantations.

The aim of our study was to assess risk factors for hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) and to evaluate the impact of HAT management on long-term outcomes after pediatric living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). We retrospectively analyzed 400 patients who underwent primary LDLT between 1999 and 2020. We compared preoperative data, surgical factors, complications, and patient and graft survivals in patients with HAT (HAT Group) and without HAT (non-HAT Group).

What Should Be the Topics of a Prospective Study on Ovarian Masses in Children?-Results of a Multicenter Retrospective Study and a Scoping Literature Review.

Purpose: to determine management problems of ovarian masses in girls in order to form a baseline for prospective randomized studies of the established topics and quality improvement of our management.

Materials And Methods: We performed a national analysis of clinical aspects of ovarian masses in girls operated on in Poland, analyzed retrospectively medical files of all consecutive patients aged 0-18 who underwent surgeries for ovarian lesions between 2012 and 2017 at 17 pediatric surgical departments and complemented the analysis with a scoping review of a recent primary research related to ovarian masses in children.

Results: The study group comprised 595 patients.
