Introduction: The natural history, the progression of a disease process in an individual over time, has not yet been fully elucidated in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). In this large multicenter study, we aimed to investigate the natural history of HS and its gender differences.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 827 patients.
Methotrexate (MTX) is commonly used as first-line systemic treatment agent in psoriasis. We aimed to evaluate the clinical characteristics and treatment responses of patients with psoriasis undergoing MTX monotherapy. Data from adult patients with plaque psoriasis who received MTX monotherapy for at least 3 months between April 2012 and April 2022 were retrospectively evaluated in 19 tertiary care centers.

Methods: The multicentre, prospective, clinical study was conducted at four hospitals in Ankara and Tokat cities of Turkey from August 1, 2014, to August 5, 2019, and comprised patients aged ≤18 years diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum. Data about demographics, day nursery and preschool attendance, the seasons when the disease occurred, any use of Turkish baths and swimming pools, history of personal/familial atopy, coexistence of diseases, disease duration, courses, number of lesions and anatomic localisation.
Objective: In the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris; androgen hormones are mentioned as an important factor for affecting sebaceous gland differentiation. Intrauterine exposure to androgen hormones is associated with autism and autistic features. An important indicator of androgen exposure is the 2D:4D ratio.
