Cardiac digital image loops and multimedia reports over the internet using DICOM.

The authors define an open, scaleable telemedicine architecture to reduce the time of reports delivery and consultation; increasing their simplicity via introducing common image presentation, storage and telecommunication formats and methods for telecardiology. They've developed a software application to implement it introducing the most appropriate digital imaging methods and formats using the latest available technology.

[Treatment of acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction with primary percutaneous coronary intervention].

Introduction: Treatment of acute myocardial infarction has changed significantly in recent years. Since January 1st, 2003 primary coronary intervention has been organized in Budapest. The authors show the results during the implementation of this method in the first 6 months with emphasizing its importance.

[Primary percutaneous coronary angioplasty in acute myocardial infarction. Measures of quality control for the work of the hemodynamics laboratory].

The results of primary percutane coronary angioplasty in acute myocardial infarction were studied and compared to international standards. We tried to develop new quality indicators for objective comparison. Seventy nine patients with acute myocardial infarction were included in the study, 47 of them from the pre-stent, and 32 from the stent era.

[Use of coronary vessel prosthesis. Complex coronary angioplasty under general anesthesia].

In 1995 we attempted to treat with PTCA 437 ischemic patients. We stended 29 patients (6.6%) with 34 stents.
