Tension type headache, migraine, and chronic daily headache as a possible endpoint of both, are the most frequent manifestations of primary headache. Their effects on the quality of life and at the workplace, as well as the socioeconomic consequences, are largely underestimated. The aim of treatment is the elimination of the condition or at the very least an acceptable improvement for the patient.
