Knee-Related Patient-Reported Outcome Measures for Young Adults: A Scoping Meta-Review.

Background: There is a lack of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) research on young adults and knee disorders. This scoping meta-review examined a young adult population and aimed to (1) provide an overview of knee-related PROMs research and (2) evaluate the measurement properties of the five most evaluated knee-related PROMs relevant for individual care and group-level analysis.
Methods: A systematic search of the PubMed and COSMIN databases was conducted on 18 September 2023 and updated on 25 November 2024 to identify systematic reviews of knee-related PROMs in young adults.

- - The objective of the study was to gather and analyze evidence on conservative treatment options for shoulder issues in patients with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD) based on a thorough literature search from 1998 to 2023.
- - After screening over 17,000 studies, only 4 were included in the review, which highlighted 7 different conservative interventions like exercise and kinesiology taping; results showed positive effects on shoulder function and pain relief.
- - The study concluded that while shoulder symptoms are prevalent in hEDS/HSD, there is a lack of comprehensive evidence on effective conservative treatments, indicating a need for further research to improve clinical practices.
Dynamic rearrangements of the F-actin cytoskeleton are a hallmark of tumor metastasis. Thus, proteins that govern F-actin rearrangements are of major interest for understanding metastasis and potential therapies. We hypothesized that the unique F-actin binding and bundling protein SWAP-70 contributes importantly to metastasis.

Women are under-represented in all areas of anaesthetic research, academia and leadership. The Gender Equity Subcommittee of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists recently conducted a survey asking "Does gender still matter in the pursuit of a career in anaesthesia in 2022?".

This paper presents a way for a nominalist, someone opposed to the existence of abstract objects, to avoid Linnebo's conclusion by rejecting his claim that certain abstraction principles are sufficient for reference (RBA). Section 1 of the paper explains Linnebo's argument for RBA.
