[New methodical approaches in the projection of zones of sanitary protection of water sources].

In the projection of sanitary protection zones of water sources it is extremely important to determine the specific boundaries of the established zones of sanitary protection due to the solution of property issues and responsibilities. In the paper projection of data with account of required scaling it is not possible to do. In this case, the use of geographic information systems is appropriate and useful.

[Suppurative complications of chickenpox in children].

In 1979-1990 213 children with local (n = 155) and generalized (n = 58) purulent complications of chickenpox, developing on days 2-6 after the eruptions, underwent treatment. They occurred mostly in children aged from 12 months to 3 years. Treatment of local forms caused no difficulties and was successful in all cases.

[Radioisotopic diagnosis of Meckel's diverticulum in children].

The serial scintiphotography following intravenous injection of Tc99m-ertechnetate was used for examination of 50 children aged from 11 months to 14 years. The method is founded on the Tc99m-pertechnetate property of selective accumulation in the gastric mucous membrane and in Meckel's diverticulum when the latter contains the ectopic gastric mucous membrane. The inflamed diverticulum can accumulate the radionuclide, as well.
