On the basis of thorough investigation of 5 patients with Morgagni-Steward-Morel syndrome the authors infer that the formation of endocranial exostoses in these patients is to certain extent independent of the development of other clinical symptoms, including psychopathological ones, and that the latter are nonspecific for the above syndrome.
