A new method concerning secure free-space communications by means of chirped laser pulse interference is proposed. Physical-layer security of the link is ensured by encoding the data in a relative phase difference between two spatially separated beams. The possible architecture of the dual-node link is discussed based on acousto-optic elements for signal modulation and detection.

We report the arbitrary modulation of chirped ultrashort laser pulses with a 70 GHz bandwidth. In the proof-of-principle experiment, modulation of Ti:sapphire laser emission was performed by the acousto-optic dispersive delay line, and the temporal pulse shape was measured with a picosecond streak camera.

The paper presents the possibility of using biologically inert nanomaterials and high technology in prosthetic dentistry. Protective coating of nanostructured titanium VT1-00 magnetic elements of the locking system of removable dentures provides durability and biological inertness and high quality aesthetic design. In assessing the microstructure of titanium protective coating of ferromagnetic elements and samarium-cobalt magnets found that the nanocrystalline coating is formed, resistant to external influences, can significantly improve strength, technical and biological characteristics of samarium-cobalt magnets and ferromagnetic alloys.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the processes of regeneration of bone tissue after the introduction of new implant systems. In the experiment, performed on 10 male pigs of Landras breed aged 50-55 days and weighing 17-18.5 kg, the time course of histological changes was studied in the area of mandibular regeneration after the formation of tissue defect and the introduction of the implant of a proposed construction.
