Gaussian processes and the Kullback-Leibler divergence have been deeply studied in statistics and machine learning. This paper marries these two concepts and introduce the local Kullback-Leibler divergence to learn about intervals where two Gaussian processes differ the most. We address subtleties entailed in the estimation of local divergences and the corresponding interval of local maximum divergence as well.

The interchangeable use of such assays to monitor disease progression and immune protection requires their standardization, for which suitably characterized monoclonal antibody materials can be useful. The methods, based on isotope dilution mass spectrometry, to value assign the mass fraction of such a material in solution within the context of an international interlaboratory comparison study (CCQM-P216) are described.

There is a scarcity of real-world data describing the clinical characteristics, treatment patterns, and effectiveness of targeted -inhibiting and immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-based systemic therapies, yet this is required for appropriate treatment decisions that optimize patient outcome.
Methods: Demographic, clinical, treatment, and outcome data of patients with mutation-positive NSCLC diagnosed between 2018 and 2022 were identified from the Glans-Look Lung Cancer Research database and included in this analysis.
A reference material for virus-like particles traceable to the International System of Units (Système International d'Unités - the SI) is reported. The material addresses the need for developing reference standards to benchmark virus-like gene delivery systems and help harmonize measurement approaches for characterization and testing. The material is a major component of synthetic polypeptide virus-like particles produced by the state-of-the-art synthetic and analytical chemistry methods used to generate gene delivery systems.
