Facilitators and barriers impacting in-hospital Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) implementation across country income levels: a scoping review.

Objective: Trauma is a leading cause of mortality and morbidity globally, disproportionately affecting low/middle-income countries (LMICs). Understanding the factors determining implementation success for in-hospital Trauma Quality Improvement Programs (TQIPs) is critical to reducing the global trauma burden. We synthesised topical literature to identify key facilitators and barriers to in-hospital TQIP implementation across country income levels.

Search and study of the space debris and asteroids within ISON project.

International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) is an open international voluntary project specializing in observations of the near-Earth space objects. Observatories collaborating with ISON provide the global coverage and successfully combine the observations of the space debris and asteroids. The network includes more than 50 telescopes of 27 observatories in 15 countries and has been working since 2005.

Electrophysiological evidence for ventral stream deficits in schizophrenia patients.

Schizophrenic patients suffer from many deficits including visual, attentional, and cognitive ones. Visual deficits are of particular interest because they are at the fore-end of information processing and can provide clear examples of interactions between sensory, perceptual, and higher cognitive functions. Visual deficits in schizophrenic patients are often attributed to impairments in the dorsal (where) rather than the ventral (what) stream of visual processing.

[Renal failure in surgery of abdominal aorta aneurysms].

The authors analyse the experience in operations for resection of an aneurysm of the abdominal aorta in 70 patients, which were performed at the Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, AMS of Russia, from 1983 to 1991. Preoperative examination revealed renal insufficiency in 8 (11.4%) patients.
