Background: Surgeons are likely to encounter patients on GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) and should be aware of any associated risks or complications. Here we review the existing literature on GLP-1RA use as it pertains to non-bariatric surgeons.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines.

This study aimed to identify predictors of e-cigarette use, quit attempts, and frequency among undergraduate students in a Hispanic-serving university in Texas. A cross-sectional study was conducted between August 1 and October 26, 2023, recruiting undergraduate students through the Sona system, an online experiment management platform.

Objective: To determine stillbirth ratio and its association with maternal, perinatal, and delivery characteristics, as well as geographic differences in Latin American countries (LAC).
Methods: We analysed data from the Perinatal Information System of the Latin American Center for Perinatology and Human Development (CLAP) between January 2018 and June 2021 in 8 health facilities from five LAC countries (Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic). Maternal, pregnancy, and delivery characteristics, in addition to pregnancy outcomes were reported.
