Design and Refinement of a Faculty Workload Estimator.

Objective: This paper describes the creation and refinement of a Workload Estimator to be used at Colleges/Schools of pharmacy to calculate faculty workload.

Methods: We describe the initial development of the Workload Estimator for pharmacy practice faculty, including the consensus-building methodology and the implementation process. Additionally, we describe the annual refinement and expansion of use to pharmaceutical and administrative sciences faculty.

Intracranial Solitary Fibrous Tumor: A Case of a 21-Year-Old Male With Olfactory Hallucination.

Meningeal solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are a rare central nervous system neoplastic process, resulting in frequent misdiagnosis as meningioma prior to pathologic analysis. Appropriate diagnosis is essential to lowering morbidity and mortality, as Grade II or III SFTs are aggressive neoplasms that possess metastatic potential. The existing data may suggest that intracranial SFTs primarily afflict those in their fourth through sixth decades of life.

Words matter: Comments in support of diagnosis education in pharmacy.

Diagnosis education is explicitly included in the Draft Accreditation Standards 2025 and should be wholeheartedly supported. To address the staggering number of diagnostic errors in the US, the National Academy of Medicine advocates for diagnosis education for all health professions. Misperceptions of pharmacists' involvement in diagnosis are exacerbated by use of implicit language and euphemisms, and it's long overdue that we provide clarity.

Large saccular intracranial aneurysm in a child with RASA1-associated capillary malformation-arteriovenous malformation syndrome: illustrative case.

Background: Large cerebral aneurysms are much less common in children than in adults. Thus, when present, these lesions require careful surgical evaluation and comprehensive genetic testing. RASA1-associated capillary malformation-arteriovenous malformation (RASA1-CM-AVM) syndrome is a rare disorder of angiogenic remodeling known to cause port-wine stains and arteriovenous fistulas but not previously associated with pediatric aneurysms.
